FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Central Michigan University student Joshua Geary has joined Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications as a 2018 summer intern.
In this role, Geary will learn about media relations, client communications, brand building and other facets of the public relations industry from the Tanner Friedman team.
At Central Michigan University, Geary currently serves as the marketing and public relations coordinator for the Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center. He has served in the past as the press secretary for the CMU Student Government Association and as social media coordinator for the Sarah R. Opperman Leadership Institute. Next year he will serve on the executive board of CMU’s PRSSA chapter.
Geary will graduate in May 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in integrative public relations and minors in leadership and public affairs.
He is a graduate of Birmingham Brother Rice High School and currently lives in Waterford, Michigan.
