Farmington Hills, Mich.— The Detroit Regional Chamber Ambassador Committee announced Tom Wegehaupt, Account Manager, Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications, as its 2018 Chair. Wegehaupt served as the group’s Vice-Chair in 2017.
Chamber Ambassadors are responsible for assisting new members by introducing them to the benefits and services of Chamber membership and serve as a one-on-one contact to help them get the most out of their memberships. As Chair to the Ambassador Committee, Wegehaupt will run committee meetings, and help guide the group to ensure active participation with new members.
The Detroit Regional Chamber is one of the oldest, largest and most respected chambers of commerce in the country. Its activities and initiatives are centered on four strategic pillars: economic development, regional collaboration, education reform and member value—these pillars are at the core of everything the Detroit Regional Chamber does.
