Made in Michigan Movement Selects Tanner Friedman for Strategic Communications

Farmington Hills, Mich. (March 1, 2010) - The organization behind the first truly statewide celebration of Michigan-made products and services has selected Tanner Friedman as its strategic communications partner. Tanner Friedman will provide media relations, messaging, marketing, and social media counsel to the Made in Michigan Movement in support of The Michigan Experience event.
Designed to provide a boost to the Michigan economy, The Michigan Experience will be the keystone annual event of the Made in Michigan Movement. It will take place Oct. 16 and 17, 2010, at Rock Financial Showplace in Novi, Mich.
The Michigan Experience will be a celebration of the wide variety of high quality consumer products, services and foods produced by companies across Michigan. Event founders plan to have approximately 300 participating businesses, small and large, and expect more than 10,000 consumers to attend. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample and purchase products from many of the participating businesses.
