Tanner Friedman Co-Founder Named Chair of Mackinac Policy Conference Marketing, Media & Sponsorship Committee

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The Detroit Regional Chamber, one of the nation's largest metropolitan chambers of commerce, has named Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications' Co-Founder Matt Friedman as Chair of the Marketing, Media and Sponsorship Committee for the Chamber's signature event - the 2011 Mackinac Policy Conference.
In this newly created role, Friedman leads a group of many of the Detroit region's top marketing, public relations and social media professionals, who have volunteered to devise communications strategies to support the overall objectives for the 2011 Mackinac Policy Conference. Widely recognized as one of the top events of its kind in the United States, the Conference will be held June 1-3, 2011 on Michigan's Mackinac Island.
Friedman and Tanner Friedman Co-Founder Don Tanner plan to be among more than 1,500 business, community and government leaders attending the Conference, along with several Tanner Friedman clients.
