Goodwin and Swoish join Tanner Friedman Internship Program

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications welcomes Danny Goodwin Jr. and Erica Swoish as interns for the Summer of 2011. Goodwin and Swoish will learn a wide-range of communication strategies while collaborating with the firm's team for several of Tanner Friedman's clients. Over the course of the summer, they will gain experience in media relations, event planning, traditional and social media, and other marketing projects.

Goodwin is a senior at Central Michigan University, graduating December 2011, pursuing his bachelor's degree in integrative public relations with a minor in advertising. He is an active member of CMU's Public Relations Student Society of America Chapter, serving as Vice-President this past year. Goodwin was also an active member in the student run public relations firm PRCentral where he represented several clients in various communication initiatives. He previously interned with the Central Michigan chapter of the American Red Cross.

Swoish is currently a junior at Michigan State University, pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications with a specialization in public relations. She is a member of MSU's Public Relations Student Society of America chapter as assistant director of the student-run firm, Hubbell Connections, where she will take over as director in January 2012. Swoish also handles marketing duties for a Northville-based lawn care and snow removal company she helped found last year, and tutors K-12 students in a variety of academic subjects.
