Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications Selects Barackman, Colman to Join Internship Program

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Carlee Barackman and Justin Colman have joined Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications as interns for the Spring 2012 term.
Both Barackman and Colman will gain experience using new and traditional communications tools in working with clients of all sizes and varied industries. They will contribute to a range of projects, including PR strategy development and implementation, social media, writing and research.
A senior at Rochester College, Barackman is pursuing her bachelor's degree in Mass Communication with a track in public relations. Prior to joining Tanner Friedman, Barackman gained insight on new media through multiple social media internships. She serves as co-editor of Rochester College's student newspaper, The Shield.
Colman, a senior at Oakland University, is pursuing his bachelor's degree in communication with a minor in public relations. Colman has prepared himself for this position through work with research and brand building for Oakland University's new branding campaign. He serves as copy editor of The Oakland Post, Oakland University's student-run newspaper.
