FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., - Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications is hosting seniors Alex Urban from CMU and Nady Bilani from WSU, for a summer internship. Both interns are pursing bachelor's degrees in public relations at their respective colleges.
Bilani and Urban are receiving hands-on experience working directly with the Tanner Friedman team. Both will be assisting in client communications, drafting press releases, constructing media pitches and facilitating communication across multiple platforms.
Bilani is the newly elected Assistant Public Relations Director for the Wayne State Public Relations Student Society of America. He is also a volunteer at The Hub of Detroit, a bike shop in downtown Detroit, coordinating the shop's social media accounts.
Urban's previous experience includes serving as the public relations representative of the College 101 program at CMU, whose mission is to motivate at-risk high school students from around the state to strive for higher education. He is also the former correspondent and current president of his fraternity, the Michigan Delta-Omega chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
Urban, a resident of Troy, is also a manger at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in the Somerset Collection when not at Tanner Friedman. Bilani works at Performance Bicycle close to his home in Bloomfield Hills where his passion for mountain biking combines with his work.
