WDC, Inc. Chooses Tanner Friedman to Drive Woodward Dream Cruise

Woodward Dream Cruise, Inc., the group that governs the world's largest one-day automotive event, voted this morning to name the strategic communications/public relations firm of Tanner Friedman as its Executive Director Team for the Woodward Dream Cruise.
As Executive Director Team, Tanner Friedman will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Cruise, including sponsorships, financial matters, communications and overall operational and strategic direction. Agency partner Don Tanner will reprise his role as Executive Director, a position he served in for the successful 2006 Woodward Dream Cruise, prior to co-founding Tanner Friedman.
"Over the past several months, the Board and I looked at a number of options for future leadership," said Dale Dawkins, President of the Woodward Dream Cruise, Inc. Board. "We see this as a pivotal year for the Cruise and Tanner Friedman as the ideal team to realize our goals and vision."

Tanner Friedman has been signed to a 3-year contract, through the 2010 Dream Cruise. The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world's largest one-day celebration of car culture, attracting more than 1 million visitors and over 40,000 muscle cars, street rods, custom, collector and special interest vehicles.
