Tanner Friedman Receives International Award Recognition
May 11, 2008
Tanner Friedman has been honored with a 2008 Gold Award in the Hermes Creative Awards. Honoring the messengers and creators of traditional and emerging media, the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals recognized Tanner Friedman for its publicity campaign, in support of the 2007 Hispanic Business Alliance (HBA) Expo & Economic Summit in Detroit.
Tanner Friedman's campaign focused on building awareness of the largest Hispanic business event in the Midwest through ethnic and mainstream media partnerships and targeted stories of entrepreneurs who have benefited from the participation in past events. The strong advance media coverage helped lead to the participation of Presidential Candidate Senator John McCain in the event.
"This Hermes Award is a reflection of the strong relationship we have established with the HBA," said Tanner Friedman Co-Founder Matt Friedman. "We greatly value the organization's trust and the confidence they have placed in our team to develop a program to help grow the success of the Expo."
Additionally, Tanner Friedman received two Honorable Mentions for additional work, including for the writing of a Community Report and radio advertising spots. Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. Hermes Creative Awards recognizes outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature and marketing and communication professionals.
