Tanner Friedman Receives Additional International Creative Award
May 17, 2008
Tanner Friedman has been honored with a 2008 Silver Creative Award in the Summit International Award competition for copywriting for the MGM Grand Detroit 2007 Community Report. Detailing MGM's commitment to community, non-profit organizations and diversity, the community report details MGM's many good works, collaborations and partnerships within the City of Detroit and State of Michigan.
"Our goal was to tell a story, with warmth and humanism, detailing the dedicated involvement and tangible efforts of MGM in our community," said Tanner Friedman Co-Founder Don Tanner, who also co-authored the report. "It is a beautifully designed, very visual piece so our words had to be few yet compelling."
An international panel of judges included professionals from Ogilvy & Mather, SAATHCI & SAATCHI, Wayne State University and others. The Summit International Awards (SIA) organization is dedicated to furthering excellence in the communications industry as one of the premier arbiters of creative and communications excellence. Companies and individuals from more than 50 countries and five continents participate in the awards program each year.
