Tanner Friedman Co-Founder Receives Chamber Award

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The nation's largest metro chamber of commerce, the Detroit Regional Chamber, has awarded Tanner Friedman Co-Founder Matt Friedman as the Chamber's 2008 Volunteer of the Year. This award recognizes a member who donated considerable time and talent supporting the Chamber's initiatives.
Friedman chairs the Chamber's Public Relations/Marketing Advisory Council and was a volunteer advocate for the Chamber's drive to eliminate a nearly-enacted tax on service businesses.
"It's important to give those leaders in the business community credit for helping the Chamber realize its mission of powering the economy for Southeast Michigan," said Richard E. Blouse, Jr., president and CEO of the Detroit Regional Chamber.
