Tanner Friedman to Present Interactive Social Media Seminar for Northwood University Alumni
May 05, 2009FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications today announces a partnership with Northwood University's Troy Campus to provide the university's alumni with an interactive social media seminar, "Social Media: More Than a Buzzword," on Thursday, May 7 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. The seminar will provide an overview of the importance and prevalence of social media, the most popular applications and examples of companies successfully using social media applications. Tanner Friedman professionals will provide advice and field questions for the use of each platform within small groups, in addition to helping those unfamiliar with the programs create profiles and initiate involvement in the applications. The seminar is free, but seats are limited; reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis. Internet access will be provided on a limited basis. Attendees are encouraged to bring their personal laptops with wireless Internet cards to engage in the small group strategy session following the presentation.
