Neville and Masson Join Tanner Friedman Internship Program

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Brittany Neville and Melissa Masson have joined Tanner Friedman, a strategic communications and public relations agency, as interns for the summer of 2009. With the firm, Neville and Masson will be involved in a wide range of public relations and marketing initiatives including media relations, writing, event planning and design projects.
Neville is currently a senior at Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. She will be completing her bachelor's degree in Journalism in August 2009, and looks forward to starting a career in public relations after graduation. During her time at OU, Neville hosted and wrote for multiple student video productions. And while briefly attending Brigham Young University in Idaho, she worked as assistant editor at the student run newspaper, the Scroll.
Masson is going into her senior year at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids. By spring of 2010, she will have completed her bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Advertising with an emphasis in Public Relations. Over the past two years, she held the position of Program Director at GVSU's student-run radio station and is heavily involved with Grand PR, the school's student-run Public Relations firm. Currently, Masson is secretary of GVSU's PRSSA Chapter and hopes to attend their National Conference in San Diego this year.
