The tables turned for me today. Instead of organizing a press conference, I spoke at one.
I was pleased to participate this afternoon in a press conference, at the invitation of the Detroit Regional Chamber, alongside Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson to unveil the “Ax The Tax” program, an effort to repeal the State of Michigan’s looming sales tax on services, which could adversely affect Tanner Friedman and many of our clients.

When the State Legislature passed this unfair and business-killing tax, it revealed a communications issue. Lawmakers didn’t communicate well with the business community before passing the tax in the middle of the night. If they had, they wouldn’t be facing recall and repeal efforts today.
