Don Tanner and Matt Friedman Inducted into PRSA Hall of Fame

Don Tanner and Matt Friedman, co-founders of Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications, were inducted into the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – Detroit Chapter’s Hall of Fame on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Oakland University.

 

The Hall of Fame is the PRSA’s highest recognition bestowed, honoring recipients for their distinguished careers in public relations and their contributions to the field as well as within the Southeast Michigan community.

 

Tanner served as president of PRSA Detroit in 2016 and on a range of boards and committees throughout his tenure with that organization and others. He is also an author and a regular college guest lecturer on public relations and the communications industry. He resides in Bloomfield Township.

 

Friedman also had a successful career in broadcast journalism before moving into PR and becoming a trusted and recognized crisis communications strategist. He is an active leader in multiple community and charitable organizations. He lives in West Bloomfield.
