Farmington Hills, Mich. – The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) has awarded Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications three international 2020 Hermes Creative Awards for its exemplary communications efforts. The team earned a publicity campaign platinum award, a magazine placement gold award and a podcast gold award, in their respective categories.
Based on the AMCP judges’ evaluation, Tanner Friedman’s entries earned the following awards:
- Platinum – MIU Men’s Health Foundation, Battle Over Beards publicity campaign, supporting men’s health in partnership with Bloomfield Township police and fire departments.
- Gold – Gleaners Community Food Bank, Best Food Forward magazine placement in Crain’s Detroit Business, outlining Gleaners’ innovative pilot program bringing kids and their families to food security through schools and community partnerships.
- Gold – Psychological Assets, in collaboration with JAG In Detroit Podcasts, We Are Human First podcast series, featuring Paula Christian Kliger, PhD, and Lori Blumenstein-Bott, LMSW.
The Hermes Creative Awards honor communications work in more than 200 categories, filtered through several headings: Print Media, Public Relations/Communications and Electronic/Social/Interactive Media. In addition to strategic tactics like advertising, publications, websites and videos, categories also include strategic campaigns and media placements.
Consisting of several thousand creative professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and charitable organizations, the AMCP administers and judges the Hermes Creative Awards and has reviewed more than 200,000 entries from over 100 countries since its formation in 1994.
