(April 19, 2023) – The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) has awarded Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications a Platinum International Hermes Creative Award for the creation, writing and production of a podcast for the MIU Men’s Health Foundation, in partnership with JAG In Detroit Podcasts.
The award-winning podcast, “On Call for Men’s Health,” helps the MIU Men’s Health Foundation reach new audiences and communicate in a new way to have hard but important conversations about an oft-taboo subject: men’s health.
From topics like testicular cancer to beer drinking, prostate cancer and testosterone levels, most of which cannot be found in a typical health news segment, host Michael Lutz, M.D., a urologist with the Michigan Institute of Urology and president and founder of the MIU Men’s Health Foundation, goes where men don’t always like to go. Dr. Lutz’s natural skills as a communicator shine throughout, ensuring that the conversation is lively, interesting and relatable. Through interviews with special guest experts on issues related to men’s health and personal stories of cancer survival, the “On Call for Men’s Health” podcast improves the health of listeners and the men they care about.

The Hermes Creative Awards honor communications work across the globe in more than two hundred categories, including Print Media, Public Relations/Communications and Electronic/ Social/Interactive Media.
